Das Bild "Gate of Love" fängt die Essenz der Liebe als allumfassende Kraft ein, die unser Leben durchdringt. Wie Antoine de Saint-Exupéry einst sagte: "Man sieht nur mit dem Herzen gut, das Wesentliche ist für die Augen unsichtbar." Liebe ist das, was wir sind und unsere Hauptquelle der Nahrung. Es ist der Weg des Lebens und hat viele Gesichter, die sich durch die Menschen um uns herum widerspiegeln. Auf unserem Weg zur Liebe begegnen wir vielen Schönheiten und auch Schwierigkeiten. Manchmal ist es ein Segen und manchmal fühlt es sich wie ein Fluch an. Dieses Bild zeigt einen Blick durch das "Gate of Love", das den Anfang unserer Reise zur Entdeckung der wahren Bedeutung von Liebe darstellt. Das Tor dient als Erinnerung daran, dass Liebe nicht nur eine Emotion ist, sondern eine kraftvolle Kraft, die unser Leben transformieren kann, wenn wir es zulassen.
Dieses Gemälde ist das Ergebnis eines dreimonatigen Arbeitsprozesses, den ich nach einer Reise nach Europa begonnen habe. Es zeigt ein Tor, das von drei Figuren umgeben ist - einen figur aus Frankreich auf der linken Seite, einem Drachen aus Spanien auf der rechten Seite und einer Figur aus Italien in der Mitte. Am unteren Rand des Tors sind zwei Torwächter abgebildet - der antike römische Gott Janus, der als Gott der Tore, Türen, Dualität, Anfänge und Enden bekannt ist, und Ishtar, die Göttin der Liebe aus Mesopotamien.
Das Gemälde ist eine Reflektion meiner bisherigen Liebesgeschichte, die ich in den letzten 30 Jahren erlebt habe. Seit ich sechs Jahre alt war, habe ich Liebe erfahren und dabei sowohl Glück als auch Trauer erlebt. Durch die Malerei konnte ich die Liebe bewusster verstehen und mich auf einen Heilungsprozess für mein Herz einlassen. Die Arbeit am Gemälde war somit eine künstlerische Therapie und ein wichtiger Schritt in der Verarbeitung meiner Liebeserfahrungen.
Das Tor auf dem Gemälde symbolisiert den Übergang von einem Zustand zum anderen, was der Dualität in der Liebe entspricht.
Das Gemälde ist somit ein Ausdruck meiner tiefen Verbundenheit mit der Liebe und ein Spiegel meiner eigenen Reise, um die Bedeutung und Heilkraft der Liebe zu verstehen.
The picture titled "Gate of Love" captures the essence of love as an all-encompassing force that permeates our lives. As Antoine de Saint-Exupéry once said, "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." Love is what we are made of, and it is our main source of nourishment. It is the way of life, and it has many faces that reflect through the people around us. On our journey towards love, we encounter many beauties and also troubles. It is sometimes a blessing, and at other times, it can feel like a curse. This picture is a view from the "Gate of Love" that represents the beginning of our journey towards discovering the true meaning of love. The gate serves as a reminder that love is not just an emotion but a powerful force that can transform our lives if we allow it to enter.
This painting is the result of a three-month process that I started after a trip to Europe. It depicts a gate surrounded by three figures - a man from France on the left, a dragon from Spain on the right, and a figure from Italy in the middle. At the bottom of the gate, two gatekeepers are depicted - the ancient Roman god Janus, known as the god of gates, doors, duality, beginnings and endings, and Ishtar, the goddess of love from Mesopotamia.
The painting is a reflection of my past love story that I have experienced over the past 30 years. Since I was six years old, I have experienced love, both happiness and sorrow. Through painting, I was able to understand love more consciously and embark on a healing process for my heart. The work on the painting was thus an artistic therapy and an important step in processing my love experiences.
The gate in the painting symbolizes the transition from one state to another, corresponding to the duality in love.
The painting is therefore an expression of my deep connection with love and a reflection of my own journey to understand the meaning and healing power of love.
